The MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) on Microsoft Windows 2003 is a certification for candidates who support, manage, and troubleshoot existing network and system environments based on the Microsoft Windows 2003 and Windows .NET Server platforms.

In addition to having a high school diploma (or equivalent), candidates for the MCSA track should have a basic understanding of the Windows operating system (either Windows 95, 98, NT 3.51, 4.0, 2000 or XP). Also, prior experience with network components is beneficial, but not required.
