In addition to having a high school diploma (or the equivalent), candidates for the Network+ certification track should have a basic understanding of the Windows operating system (either Windows 2000, ME 98, 95, NT 4.0, NT 3.51). Additionally, prior experience with networking components is recommended, but not required.
